One person was killed and two injured by a fire in Blue Springs on Monday.  At approximately 8:30 A.M. Beatrice rescue personnel responded to a possible drowning below the West Court Street bridge in Beatrice Wednesday evening. According to witnesses, Eric Pospichal, 23, was swimming near the dam when he was pulled underneath the water by the current.
