100 mph winds hit Manhattan

Riley County Emergency Management Director Pat Collins informed the Riley County Commissioners that two storms passed over Manhattan on Friday.  Collins said he contacted the Geary County EMS and winds measured about 50 mph. Highway K-99 to close for rail crossing work

Weather permitting, on Friday/Saturday, September 25-26, K-99 will be closed in two different locations in Marshall County for Union Pacific railroad crossing repair projects. UPDATE: Rail Crossing Replacement To Close K-9 in Frankfort

Weather permitting, on Thursday/Saturday, September 17-19, K-9 will be closed on the west edge of the city of Frankfort in Marshall County for a railroad crossing replacement project.
