Gage County Sheriff Millard “Gus” Gustafson said the county rollover has been the only accident his department has had to dealt with in the last two days. Nemaha and Washington County Sheriff’s Department reported no weather related accidents. Marshall County Sheriff’s Department reported that they responded to several vehicles in the ditch and minor vehicle incidents but had no injuries reported during the first major snow event of the year. Riley County Emergency Management Director Pat Collins informed the Riley County Commissioners that two storms passed over Manhattan on Friday. Collins said he contacted the Geary County EMS and winds measured about 50 mph.
