Washington Loses Power

Early Sunday morning, the City of Washington lost power. Westar’s line opened up causing an area wide power outage. City of Washington staff generated power until notified by KMEA that power was no longer needed.   Staff received a call from KMEA later Sunday morning requesting generation for voltage support. Washington Man Injured In Accident/Car Fire

A Washington man was injured in a one vehicle accident on Tuesday, May 8th. Washington County Community Foundation Grant Recipients announced.

The Washington County Community Foundation has announced the 2012 grant recipients from the Washington County Opportunity Fund. The Hanover Senior Citizens received $350 toward the purchase of a microphone and speaker system for the Kloppenberg Center.
