US-77 south of Waterville was closed to traffic overnight for nearly 3 1/2 hours following a multi-vehicle accident involving a semi. Highway K-63 Accident Takes Life Of Baileyville Woman

A fatality accident was discovered early Sunday morning in Nemaha County. Twenty-year-old Kayla R. Strathman of Baileyville was southbound on K-63, about four miles south of 24th Road when her vehicle left the roadway, began to broadside, and struck a field driveway. A car stolen in Wymore late Saturday night was found torched at the Blue Springs Ballfield early Sunday. Twenty year old Patrick J Wahlstrom, and 20 year old Christopher Okeefe were arrested, and taken into custody in Blue Springs Sunday evening. The Marysville Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire last Monday near 12th and Broadway in Marysville. Jason Brown of Marysville was eastbound on Highway 36 when his vehicle caught fire due to transmission trouble.  He pulled into the Citizens State Bank ATM drive through.  The Ford Explorer was a total loss.
