Kansans are getting advice on driving safely during deer mating season. Triple A notes that deer cause 1.6 million vehicle crashes annually. The Insurance Information Institute says such accidents average $3,000 in damages. Deer accidents spike from October through December, during mating season. Gage county pursuit ends in arrest

A 19-year-old Sterling man led a Gage County  Sheriff’s deputy on a high speed pursuit through northern Gage County Thursday night, including through the village of Adams.
