Nemaha County Dealing With $3.5 Million Property Value Drop

Nemaha County is scrambling to adjust budgets following a $3.5 million drop in state assessed property values, primarily related to a reduction in the value of the Keystone Pipeline, which crosses the county. Nebraska Farmland Prices Double

Nebraska farmland prices have officially doubled since 2005. The average land value of land in Eastern Nebraska with center-pivot irrigation was 4,625 dollars per acre.
