Cleanup Continues Following Frankfort Train Derailment

Clean up continues, while no cause has yet been determined, of a Union Pacific train derailment at Frankfort Monday morning. Final reports indicate that as many as 12 cars of a 137 unit train carrying coal from Wyoming to Texas jumped the tracks at the west crossing on Highway K-9. Some 1,000 feet of track were damaged, and will be replaced. The route normally serves ... Train Derails Southeast of Fairbury
