Fire Burns Field Near Taco Bell

Tornado Drill 1:30 Tuesday

The National Weather Service will be conducting their annual tornado drill Tuesday at 1:30pm. The backup date, in case of severe weather, is March 15 at 1:30pm. The National Weather Service has declared March 12-16 as Kansas Severe Weather Week. Kansas had 68 tornadoes last year. The average for Kansas over the last 10 years has been 112. Tornadoes were ... Fire Destroys Home in Sterling, Nebraska

A house owned by Kate Agena, located on Illinois Street in Sterling, Nebraska was completely destroyed by a fire early Tuesday morning. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Agena was not home when the fire started. Read More »

Attempted Murder Trial to Begin Tuesday

A Topeka man charged with the attempted murder of Marshall County Deputy Fernando Salcedo will be brought to trial beginning at 9 A.M. on Tuesday.
