Washington Count Firefighters respond to a Feed Truck Fire

On Friday the Washington Fire Department was dispatched to 2239 17th Road for a feed truck fire.  According to Fire Chief Jerry Aldridge a feed truck belonging to Curtis Stamm was damaged by a fire in the engine compartment.  No cost estimate was available. Read More »

On 021011 on US 36 just west of Thunder Road, Stanley Payeur, Clyde driving a 2003 Dodge struck deer. Damage estimated at more than $1,000.00, no injuries were reported. Marysville Man Severly Injured in Pursuit

Riley County Police released more information on a pursuit involving Jason Fisher of Marysville. According to the police report at approximately 7 p.m. a pickup driven by Ben Kautz was stopped for a traffic violation. Kautz was arrested for driving under the influence. The Washington Fire Department responded to 19 North B Street Washington for the report of a truck on fire. A mid 1990’s Chevrolet pickup was destroyed by fire. Beatrice Police were involved in a vehicle chase on Friday morning.
