Two KU Track Contingents in Action this Weekend



The University of Kansas track & field teams will send groups to two different meets this weekend. The KU throwers will journey to La Jolla, California to take part in the Triton Invitational April 24-25, while the sprinters will trek to Joplin, Missouri for the Bill Williams/Bob Laptad Invitational on April 24.

Host of Jayhawks Contribute in Quad Sweep at 88th Kansas Relays



PHOTO GALLERY // RESULTS // Ten event titles propelled both the men's and women's Kansas teams to victories in the 88th Kansas Relays quadrangular competition Friday inside Rock Chalk. The KU men came out on top in dominant fashion, dispatching of the other three squads by 69 points after tallying 226 points during the three-day event. The Kansas women amassed 194 points for the win, 22 points clear of second-place Kansas State.

Busy Friday Brings Exciting Results on Final Day of 88th Kansas Relays

Stigler Listed on April’s Bowerman Watch List



Kansas senior Michael Stigler was one of 10 collegians named to the April edition of the Bowerman Watch List, it was announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Wednesday. The Bowerman, known as "The Heisman Trophy" of NCAA track & field, is presented annually by the USTFCCCA to the most outstanding male and female collegiate track & field athletes in the nation.

Vollmer Out to Big Lead on Day One of 88th Kansas Relays



RESULTS // Senior Lindsay Vollmer was victorious in all four events on day one of the heptathlon competition Wednesday at the 88th Kansas Relays at Rock Chalk Park. Vollmer leads the competition by 466 points with three events still to come Thursday.

Jumpers Get Jayhawks Off to Strong Start in Arkansas



Friday Results // Jayhawk victories in both the men's and women's high jump got Kansas track & field's weekend off to a fast start Friday evening at the John McDonnell Invitational. Seniors Nick Giancana and Colleen O'Brien tallied wins in their respective competitions, while junior Lindsay Vollmer turned in a career best in the high jump en route to a runner-up finish.

KU Track Treks to Arkansas for John McDonnell Invite



MEET NOTES // The Kansas men's and women's track & field teams will travel to Fayetteville, Arkansas for the third time in 2015 as they compete in the John McDonnell Invitational this weekend, April 10-11. The meet will serve as the Jayhawks' final tune-up before they return home to host the 88th Annual Kansas Relays the following weekend. Field events will kick off the meet Friday at 1:30 p.m., while track events Saturday will pick up at noon inside John McDonnell Stadium.
