Marshall County Property tax deadline is Dec. 20

Marshall County’s property tax deadline for the first half of 2012 is due December 20th.  County Treasurer Linda Weber says about $8.1 million total is due for the first half and so far only about one-fourth of it has been collected, at just over $2 million. Read More »

Bern Bank Receives 1.5 Million Dollars for Small Business Loans

The U.S. Department of the Treasury says a Bern Bank is among three additional Kansas community banks that will receive a total of $2.7 million as part of the next wave of funding provided through the Small Business Lending Fund. Marysville Man Involved in Injury Accident

A three-vehicle accident at the junction of U.S. 75 and K-9 Highways in northern Jackson County may have injured a Marysville man to the hospital Friday afternoon.  The accident sent a total of three people to the hospital.
