Since Thursday, The Washington County Sheriff’s Office received 6 reports of unknown person or persons entering or attempting to gain entry to occupied residences.  At the present time, nothing has been reported stolen during these incidents. Stolen Car Found in Lake

At approximately 4 a.m. on Wednesday, the Gage County Sheriff’s Office recovered a vehicle at S 43rd Road and E Locust Road that had been stolen from Beatrice. Robert Seitz approached deputies and reported that his red 2004 Honda Recon ATV had just been stolen from his residence. A short time later Beatrice Police Department located the ATV. After a ... Semi Blocks Highway

Highway 15 South of Washington was closed this morning when a semi suffered a mechanical malfunction and blocked both lanes of traffic. Traffic was rerouted through the Bruna Implement Dealer. The highway was cleared and opened to traffic after just a short period of time. Read More »

Marysville City Dump to be Closed June 7th and 8th

The Marysville City Dump and surrounding roads will be closed on June 7th and 8th. Local Law Enforcement officers will be completing firearms training during that time. Officers are mandated by the state of Kansas to complete a state-mandated course. Read More »
