Suspicious Activity in Washington

Someone was apparently shaking door knobs in the City of Washington overnight Thursday.  Washington County Sheriff Bill Dickson told KNDY that they received multiple reports of someone trying to open doors, supposedly to gain entry to homes.  Dickson reported that no homes were entered and nothing was reported to be stolen.  Washington County Deputies did spend extra time in the ... Harveyville Volunteer Response to begin Thursday, March 1

Persons wishing to volunteer their assistance in Harveyville need to report to Mission Valley School, 12913 Mission Valley Road, Eskridge, Kan., beginning at 9 a.m. Thursday, March 1.
