Seneca DMV Office Now Offers CDL Testing

The Seneca office of the Kansas Division of Motor Vehicles is now among 13 state offices qualified to offer commercial driver’s license testing.  A C.D.L is required for anyone wanting to drive a vehicle with a gross weight over 26,000 pounds, designed to carry 16 or more passengers, or requires hazardous material placards. Wheat Harvest is Nearly Complete

  Area elevators report that wheat harvest is nearly complete throughout Kansas.   Beattie Coop reports that wheat harvest is at least 90% complete in Frankfort with yield averaging 40-45 bushel.  Moisture was steady at 11-12 and test weights were running 60-61 pounds.   In Beattie the Coop reports harvest is 95% complete.  According to area farmers yield ran between ... Clay County farmers have just started harvesting in earnest, according to Jim Spector, manager at Farmway Coop in Clay Center.
