Hail was the cause of an accident in North Central Kansas that sent 8 people, including 6 students from Clifton-Clyde High School to the hospital Wednesday. Eight teenagers were injured Saturday when the vehicle they were driving in left the road, struck an embankment, and rolled onto its driver’s side. Marysville Man Arrested for Drug Possession in Beatrice

Beatrice police responded to a call reporting a suspicious SUV parked in an area that is not open for unauthorized vehicles.  Officers found Volgar near the vehicle.  Police asked Volgar for consent to search his person and the vehicle. Marshall County Fire Trucks Respond to a Call of a Vehicle on Fire

Marshall County Fire Chief Dave Richardson reported that fire units responded to 1010 North Street in Marysville for a report of a car on fire.  Upon arrival they located a small fire in the engine compartment of an SUV.  The fire was caused by leaves next to a heater core.  Chief Richardson reported the damage to the car was minimal.
