Hollenberg Pony Express Station to open for Spring and Summer

The Beatrice State Developemental Center in Beatrice announced it will begin layoffs this spring. Jodi Fenner, director of the Division of Developmental Disabilities for the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services, said layoff plans had been forwarded to administrators at the center, but no layoff notices have been handed out. Honor flight fundraiser this Saturday

Jackson Heights School District will hold a fundraiser Saturday for an Honor Flight this spring. Honor Flights takes World War II veterans to Washington DC to visit the National World War II memorial and other historic sites.
