Nemaha County Board Willing to Help Centralia Re-establish EMS Service

Two Seneca teens arrested for attempting to elude police

A fire broke out SKF Sealing Solutions in Seneca Thursday evening. The Seneca Volunteer Fire Department responded to a call of a fire at SKF Sealing Solutions located in the northeast part of town around 9 p.m. According to Seneca Fire Chief Brian Ruske the fire was quickly extinguished and there were no injuries. A 20-year-old Seneca man was seriously injured when he was ejected from his pick-up truck in a one-vehicle accident just after 1 a.m. Sunday on a Pottawatomie County road. Telephone Scams come to our area.

Seneca Police Chief Brent Schulte says the Pamida store in Seneca reported that someone is calling customers of the Pamida Pharmacy and identifying themselves as a Pamida representative that is verifying customer information. Baileyville man injured in accident.

A single-vehicle accident sent a Baileyville man to the hospital. Nemaha County Sheriff’s Department reported 23-year-old Andrew Schmitz of Baileyville; was traveling north on J Road last Thursday at approximately 1:40 A.M.  His pickup left the road, ran through a fence and rolled over.
