County Stampede Fatality Identified

A 20-year old man who was found unconscious at the Country Stampede and died in route to the hospital has been identified.  Sheriff Greg Riat says security at the Tuttle Creek State Park called his office after Jacob Krueztzer of Beaver Creek, Nebraska was found unresponsive at the campground about 2:30 Thursday morning. Marshall County Rural Fire Department Receives Grant Money

U.S. Senator Pat Roberts has announced more than $690,000 in thirteen grants to Kansas firefighters to improve homeland security.
