The Marysville City Council met Monday. Chickens and tennis again dominated much of the discussion. Residents for and against an ordinance proposed which would allow keeping and raising chickens within the city limits spoke. An idea floated to allow a one year trial was brought forward. Negotiations Continue On Baileyville School Buildings Sale

Negotiations continue with Highland Community College and USD 115 for sale of the school buildings in Baileyville. An original price tag of $500,000 is now being reduced to $350,000, after counter offers by each party. Highland plans to use the facility for a learning center.
