The Kansas Jayhawk men's and women's teams swept the quadrangular competitions with the KU men coming out on top with 226 points, while the women amassed 194 points for the win.

NOTES // TICKETS // The Kansas men's and women's track & field teams will return to host one of the most historic meets in the U.S., the Kansas Relays, this weekend. The 88th installment of the meet will begin on Wednesday, April 15 and continue through Saturday, April 18. Some of the nation's top high school and collegiate athletes will be in action at Kansas' year-old home facility, Rock Chalk Park. Fans will be admitted for free for the Wednesday and Thursday sessions and will be able to buy a tickets ranging from $5-$15 for the Friday and Saturday sessions. Saturday afternoon's scored collegiate quadrangular will also be televised on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel as well as ESPN3 beginning at 1 pm (CT).
Turnout for Tuesdays spring election was 32% in Marshall County, with several contested city council, and school board races creating interest. Always known for hosting one of the top high school meets in the nation, the Kansas Relays will be no different this year as the meet, now in its 88th year, will again feature the adidas Dream 100 and Dream Mile competitions. The races are qualifying events that will earn winners automatic bids to run at the adidas Grand Prix held on June 13 at Randall's Island in New York.
