Home Man Injured In Accident

A Home City man was injured Friday afternoon when the pickup he was driving was struck by a semi.  Dominic, Buster, Schmitz was travelling east on Highway 36 when a semi driven by Scotty D. David Schmitz, Wetmore Attendance Center Principal, is retiring.

Schmitz to Represent Blue Valley Tele-Communications in D.C.

  Audrey Schmitz, Axtell has been selected to represent Blue Valley Tele-Communications in Washington D.C. at the annual Foundation for Rural Service (FRS) Youth Tour this June. Marysville Men Say it with Roses

Marysville Area Ladies were the recipients of over 1400 roses and other flowers.  According to Garden of Eden owner Sandy Schmitz Valentines’ Day was a very good holiday for the downtown business.  In addition to the roses and flowers Schmitz said their four delivery drivers completed around four hundred deliveries.  She said they expect some sales Wednesday to those who ... Axtell Homecoming Friday Night

Axtell High School will celebrate their homecoming on Friday. The parade will begin at approximately 2 p.m. followed by a pep rally.
