Sen. Moran taking applications for U.S. Service Academy

7th Annual FallFest this Saturday in Washington

The 7th annual First National Bank FallFest is coming up this Saturday in Washington.  Events start at 7 am with breakfast at the Methodist Church. FOX Deportes to Broadcast Saturday’s K-State/Miami Game

A rural Onaga man was killed in an accident on Saturday.

Sheriff Greg Riat reported 51-year-old Timothy Graf was pronounced dead at the scene of the roll-over accident on Duluth Road, east of Neuchatel Road.  Riat says the accident was reported shortly after 8:30 Saturday night. Summerfield Celebrates Summer Sizzler

Big Weekend Ahead for Homestead Days

Homestead Days are currently underway in Beatrice.  Angie Bruna, event coordinator said nearly all the area hotels are full.    This year Homestead Days include a family bike riding event, which will be held Friday, features a trip from Chautauqua Park to Riverside Park and back. Big Blue River Days a Huge Success

Marysville hosted large crowds on Saturday for Blue River Days! The 22nd Annual Marysville Auto Fest drew over 270 entries including cars, trucks and motorcycles.  The Big Blue Barbeque Championship included 28 teams.  A record 986 tickets were sold for the peoples’ choice tasting. Read More »
