Second Suspect Arrested in Bern School Burglary

The Nemaha County Sheriff‘s Department has arrested 30-year-old Brandon Frye of Oneida Friday on a Nemaha County warrant charging him with burglary, theft and criminal damage to property. U.S. Senator Pat Roberts announced Tuesday that the U.S. Department of Agriculture that Marshall County had be designated as a primary natural disaster area.  The designation was the result of damage sustained during severe weather that occurred from May 6-June 20. State budget cuts have forced Kansas Secretary of Agriculture Josh Svaty to temporarily suspend inspections in hotels across the State of Kansas.
