Deadline approaching for Wymore Water Project

The Wymore Rural Water Project will begin construction soon.  Landowners in the area have until Sept. 28th to become part of the project at a current hookup fee of $1,100.  After Sept. 28, the hookup fee will increase to $5,000.  170 of the area residents have signed up for the project.  The Lower Big Blue NRD is sponsoring the $3.2 ... On Monday, June 11, a multi-highway resurfacing project will begin with an 8-mile section of K-63 from the K-63/US-36 east junction north to the north K-63/K-9 junction in Nemaha County. Re-Surfacing Project Will Begin June 11

On Monday, June 11, a multi-highway resurfacing project will begin with an 8-mile section of K-63 from the K-63/US-36 east junction north to the north K-63/K-9 junction in Nemaha County. Homestead Trail Nears Completion From Beatrice to Lincoln

The Homestead Corridor biking and hiking trail will soon connect Beatrice to Lincoln.  Only 10 miles of trail between Pickrell and Cortland are incomplete.  The trail runs parallell to U.S. 77, and should be completed this summer.   Beatrice has secured funding for the project. New Waterline Proposed for Southern Gage County

A new water line has been proposed for southern Gage County.  The Lower Big Blue Natural Resource District proposed installing a new water line east and south of Wymore.  170 people in the area have already signed up to hook into the new 127 mile waterline.
