Marysville City Pool Issues?

Concerns about the Marysville City Pool were addressed by City Administrator Rick Shain. Shain reported that there have not been any problems with algae. Charges are still being considered for a man who allegedly caused a disturbance at the Marysville City Pool last week. Marshall County Attorney representatives reported that the incident is still under investigation and charges are still being considered. The representative could not say what the charges may be. Arrest Expected in Marysville Pool Incident

On Friday, the Marysville Pool manager requested Marysville Police meet with her concerning a possible issue with a disorderly man. Marysville responded and spoke to the manager and interviewed several children. Marysville Police then escorted a male off the pool property. Date Changes For Local Events Made

Several traditional June Events have been postponed until later in the summer. The Frankfort Summerfest will take place on July 2nd, to coincide with the opening of the new Frankfort Swimming Pool. As schools start in the area, pools will be closing.  The Marysville city pool’s last day will be Sunday, August 15th.  Blue Rapids city pool will also close Sunday, August 15th and Waterville City Pool will end their season on Sunday August 22nd. Read More »
