Man dies at Country Stampede

USD 223 makes budget cuts

223 Barnes, Hanover and Linn School Board met on Monday.  The purpose of the meeting was to address budget concerns and make decisions concerning the 2010-2011 School Budget.  Rick Simoncic, District Superintendent reported that no teaching staff cuts were made.  There was a reduction in hours for some of the classified staff.  The Board did approve instituting a “Pay to ... The Frankfort Lady Wildcats won their 2nd state volleyball championship in school history on Saturday at Gross Memorial Coliseum as they fought back from an early deficit in the semifinals and reeled off four straight games to win the state title.
