Man Killed During Pursuit


One man died in a police pursuit of a pickup on Monday.  The pursuit occurred approximately 11:35 p.m. near Pawnee City. Pawnee County Sheriff Jayme Reed says a Jansen, Nebraska man died in a one-vehicle accident on Highway 8 just east of the Pawnee-Gage County line early Sunday morning.
