National Work Zone Awareness Week Asks Kids To Color Kansas Orange

The Kansas Department of Transportation is participating in National Work Zone Awareness Week, through March 27th. Kids are encouraged to color Kansas orange, by downloading and printing a coloring sheet from the K-Dot website, then sending a photo of the picture, which will be posted on the departments Northeast Kansas Facebook page. The longtime editor and co-publisher of the Marysville Advocate newspaper passed away early this morning at Bryan Memorial LGH Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska. Mountain Lion Roaming Nemaha County

Kansas officials have verified another mountain lion. It‘s the state‘s fifth confirmed sighting since 2007. Before that, the last official verification of a mountain lion in the state occurred in 1904.
