Four theft cases are currently being investigated by the Wymore Police. Beatrice woman injured in rollover accident

Two arrested for salvage yard theft

Marysville loses Public Works Director and Council person.

Marysville no longer has a public works director.  Jim Mueller resigned his position at the September 13th Council Meeting.  Mueller had served as the Public Works Director since 2003.  Ward 4 City Council member Carol Phillips also resigned.  The council will begin a search to fill her position.

Marysville man found guilty of attempted murder

Douglas Kling of Marysville was found guilty Wednesday afternoon of five counts related to the 2009 stabbing of his wife. A 12-person jury deliberated only 15 minutes before unanimously convicting Kling of attempted first-degree murder, aggravated kidnapping, aggravated battery causing great bodily harm, aggravated assault and criminal threat.
