Counterfeit Bills Passed in Downtown Marysville

Beatrice police responded to a call reporting a suspicious SUV parked in an area that is not open for unauthorized vehicles.  Officers found Volgar near the vehicle.  Police asked Volgar for consent to search his person and the vehicle. Ashland Man Arrested for Sexual Assault in Beatrice

An Ashland man was arrested in Beatrice on Thursday for attempted first degree sexual assault. Douglas Vance, 34, responded to a community website posting on June 21.
