Local Scouts Participate In Search Drill At Alcove Spring Park

Local Boy Scouts assisted in the rescue of a small girl who wandered off at the Alcove Spring park. The scouts were part of an emergency management drill coordinated between the Marshall County Fire Department, Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, Marshall County Emergency Management and the leaders of Boy Scout Troop 180. The STEP Foundation Board of Directors has announced the city of Centralia Parks has been awarded $3,000 to create a soccer field in Centralia.
