Onaga Teen Killed In Hunting Accident

An Onaga teenager was accidentally killed Saturday in a hunting accident.  Pottawatomie County Sheriff Greg Riat reported the sheriff’s office was contacted at 7:15 a.m. and told there was a gunshot related accident in a rural area near Havensville in Pottawatomie County. Post Offices Will Stay Open

Counterfeit Bills Passed in Downtown Marysville

Several counterfeit $20 bills were used as payment to businesses in downtown Marysville.  According to the Marysville Police the bills were given as payment for purchases at several downtown store.  Police immediately notified businesses through the Chamber of Commerce.  Police have identified a person of interest and forwarded the investigation to the Marshall County Attorney’s office.  County Attorney Laura Johnson-McNish ...
