Marysville School Board Meeting Notes

Marysville USD 364 school board met Wednesday, and discussed the 2014–15 calendar, which will be adopted at the February board meeting. No decision was made on the vacant lot near the Ag Building, with discussion to continue at a later date. Marshall County Commissioners met Monday, and elected Tom Holle board chair during the 2014 reorganization. Register of Deeds Martha Roesch encouraged passing a resolution to the legislature that they not remove the mortgage registration fee. The board plans to adopt that resolution next week. The Washington City Council December 2nd adopted a revised ordinance regarding city utilities and deposits. Among changes, effective January 2014, delinquent notices will no longer be mailed, service termination guidelines and reconnection fees were established, and landlord liability will be attempted once an account has been delinquent at least ninety days.
