Kansas State Emergency Board Chairman Adrian Polansky is recommending that Governor Sam Brownback request that 37 additional Kansas counties be declared as disaster areas due, in part, to drought. Second Suspect Arrested in Bern School Burglary
The Nemaha County Sheriff‘s Department has arrested 30-year-old Brandon Frye of Oneida Friday on a Nemaha County warrant charging him with burglary, theft and criminal damage to property.
