On Monday, June 11, a multi-highway resurfacing project will begin with an 8-mile section of K-63 from the K-63/US-36 east junction north to the north K-63/K-9 junction in Nemaha County. On Monday, June 11, a multi-highway resurfacing project will begin with an 8-mile section of K-63 from the K-63/US-36 east junction north to the north K-63/K-9 junction in Nemaha County. K-110 Bridge work scheduled to begin Monday

97 Tornados Reported In Kansas

97 Tornadoes were reported in Kansas over the Weekend.  The National Weather Service issued the preliminary count on Sunday.  Monday morning Bill Schwinndamann, Marshall County Emergency Preparedness Director reported tornado warnings had been issued for southeast Marshall County including the town of Frankfort.  Schwinndamann said he did not have a confirmed touchdown and damage was relatively light.  He also reported ... One Person Critically Injured in Four Vehicle Accident

One person was air-lifted to a Lincoln Hospital after a four vehicle accident on U.S. Highway 77 between Oak and Osage Road, just one mile north of the 77 and 121 intersections.  Highway 77 was completely shut down for several hours Monday afternoon while law enforcement investigated a crash that included a total of four vehicles.
