Marysville Public Library To Close Temporarily For Renovation Work

The Marysville Public Library is alerting citizens that the library will temporarily close for renovation work on Monday, June 9th lasting through Sunday, June 22nd. The library will continue to take reservations for the Summer Reading Program via telephone at (785) 562-2491. During the closing, all library services will be suspended. Marshall County Commission Votes To Purchase Waterville Lumberyard

Marshall County Commissioners met Monday, and voted to purchase the former Waterville Lumberyard, including most of four lots south of the Post Office, for $25,000. Fire Destroys Residence In Blue Springs

A fire in Blue Springs early Monday afternoon destroyed a residence at 121 West Irving. The house had been damaged by fire twice in December, initially with what was believed to be an electrical fire December 15 that rekindled overnight.
