Kling sentenced to probation

Douglas Kling, Marysville, was convicted in a July jury trial of aggravated escape, burglary and two counts of theft of a vehicle. Aggressive DUI enforcement on its way

Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, Marysville Police Department and 140 other police agencies are currently participating in the Drunk Driving, Over the Limit, Under Arrest program.  The program, which runs through Labor Day provides Law Enforcement funds to increase the enforcement of Kansas drunk driving and traffic laws.  The crackdown is funded by a grant from the Kansas department of Transportation. 4 Marysville businesses suffer damage

Pools open

As schools start in the area, pools will be closing.  The Marysville city pool’s last day will be Sunday, August 15th.  Blue Rapids city pool will also close Sunday, August 15th and Waterville City Pool will end their season on Sunday August 22nd. Read More »
