Marysville USD 364 school board met Wednesday, and discussed the 2014–15 calendar, which will be adopted at the February board meeting. No decision was made on the vacant lot near the Ag Building, with discussion to continue at a later date. Resignation/retirement were approved for Rosemary Walstrom, speech/language pathologist, and Sharon Vogelsberg, elementary librarian effective end of the school year. Read More »

The Marysville Chamber of Commerce annual banquet is Saturday evening at the Marysville American Legion. Social hour begins at 6, with a dinner at 7. A trivia night and dance will follow. The Marysville City Council met Monday. The interlocal agreement for participation in the revised neighborhood revitalization program through Marshall County was approved. Discussion regarding the potential for using available surplus funds to pay off the 11th Street and curb and gutter projects early yielded no action.
