On Friday, the Marysville Pool manager requested Marysville Police meet with her concerning a possible issue with a disorderly man. Marysville responded and spoke to the manager and interviewed several children. Marysville Police then escorted a male off the pool property. The Kansas Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services plans to close nine service centers across Kansas in a cost-cutting move–including the office in Marysville. Amanda Marina Baynton, Marysville, is charged with second-degree intentional murder in the June 8 shooting death of her husband, Derek Baynton. Copper Thieves May Be Stealing Camper Cords

Beatrice Police have received more than 20 theft reports involving the theft of power cords from campers. Two similar thefts have been reported in Marysville.
