Marysville Police Announce Aggressive Enforcement of Handicap Parking

Marysville Police Chief Todd Ackerman informed the Marysville City Council on Monday that his officers will be aggressively enforcing Handicap space parking. The preliminary hearing for a Marysville woman charged in the shooting death of her husband has been continued until August 4th. Amanda Marina Baynton, Marysville, is charged with second-degree intentional murder in the June 8 shooting death of her husband, Derek Baynton. Victim Identified In Marysville Shooting, Suspect In Custody

A man identified as 24 year old Derek Baynton of Marysville was the victim of a fatal shooting at a residence at 604 Walnut  in Marysville Wednesday evening just after 7:30.  The incident apparently began as a domestic dispute, and escalated with Baynton shot several times.  He was pronounced dead at the scene.  Authorities arrived and took a suspect in ... Copper Thieves May Be Stealing Camper Cords

Beatrice Police have received more than 20 theft reports involving the theft of power cords from campers. Two similar thefts have been reported in Marysville. According to Beatrice Police Captain Geral Lamkin the cords are a heavy duty extension cord worth up to 150 dollars.
