Community Choir Earns Standing Ovation

The Marysville City Council met Monday (11/28/11).  The Koester House Museum advisory committee presented a priority list of repairs and maintenance issues for the Koester House Museum.  The group has established a goal of raising $25,000 to fund the projects, and will keep the council apprised of progress. Garage fire in Marysville Saturday Morning.

A fire early Saturday morning destroyed a detached garage in the alley in the 200 block of South Eighth Street in Marysville.  Firemen were called to the scene shortly after 7 am, and the structure was completely engulfed in flames.  The multiple car garage was vacant, and is to the north end of the Lincoln Center’s Pathway House.  An adjacent ... Marysville Council Approves New Police Auxilary Program

The Marysville City Council approved a new police auxiliary program at their Monday night meeting.  Police Chief Todd Ackerman requested the program to help with personnel issues in specific situations.  The new auxiliary personnel would not be armed.   According to Ackerman the auxiliary personnel would only use force as a last resort.  Their primary function would be to observe and ...
