Marysville Woman Pleads Guilty to Drug Charges

Donna L. Marysville Woman Pleads “Not Guilty” to Murder

A Marysville woman has pleaded “ not guilty” to a charge of first-degree murder in the shooting death of her husband. Community Choir Earns Standing Ovation

Area residents were treated to two concerts over the weekend by the Marshall County Community Choir.  Performances were held at the Waterville Opera House on Saturday and the Presbyterian Church in Marysville on Sunday.  Both performances were well attended by the community.  The choir led by Maybelle Circle, performed arrangements of traditional and modern Christmas songs.  Over 40 area residents ... The Marysville City Council met Monday (11/28/11).  The Koester House Museum advisory committee presented a priority list of repairs and maintenance issues for the Koester House Museum.  The group has established a goal of raising $25,000 to fund the projects, and will keep the council apprised of progress. Garage fire in Marysville Saturday Morning.

A fire early Saturday morning destroyed a detached garage in the alley in the 200 block of South Eighth Street in Marysville.  Firemen were called to the scene shortly after 7 am, and the structure was completely engulfed in flames.  The multiple car garage was vacant, and is to the north end of the Lincoln Center’s Pathway House.  An adjacent ... Shilling Retires

Marysville Council Approves New Police Auxilary Program

The Marysville City Council approved a new police auxiliary program at their Monday night meeting.  Police Chief Todd Ackerman requested the program to help with personnel issues in specific situations.  The new auxiliary personnel would not be armed.   According to Ackerman the auxiliary personnel would only use force as a last resort.  Their primary function would be to observe and ...
