Marysville City Council Attempts to Keep SRS Office

Man Injured in Early Morning Accident

Marshall County Sheriff reported one man was injured Thursday morning when he fell asleep while driving. 19 year-old Garrett Dell of DeWitt was driving south on U.S. Highway 77 near Bison Road, approximately one mile south of the Nebraska-Kansas border when his vehicle left the roadway, entered a ditch, and hit a tree. Preliminary Hearing for Carroll Postponed

The preliminary hearing for the felony theft case filed against former Marshall County Attorney Brian Carroll has been postponed until September 13th. Carroll is accused of misappropriating more than 70,000 dollars from the Marysville Berean Church. The misappropriation of funds took place between August 2006 and November 2010.
