The Marshall County Community Choir’s Christmas concert rehearsals begin Sunday, October 16. The choir rehearses at the Memorial Presbyterian Church, Marysville, for ninety minutes each week. Farmers Waiting for Crops to Dry
Area farmers are still waiting for corn to dry out. Lyle Brooks, Branch Manager for Beattie Co-op in Beattie reports that only a few corn and soybean deliveries have been made to the Co-op. Preliminary Hearing Set for Former County Attorney
Former Marshall County Attorney Brian Carroll is scheduled to appear in Marshall County Court October 11th. Carroll did not enter a plea at the most recent hearing, leading District Judge Jack Murphy to schedule the preliminary hearing.
