97 Tornados Reported In Kansas

97 Tornadoes were reported in Kansas over the Weekend.  The National Weather Service issued the preliminary count on Sunday.  Monday morning Bill Schwinndamann, Marshall County Emergency Preparedness Director reported tornado warnings had been issued for southeast Marshall County including the town of Frankfort.  Schwinndamann said he did not have a confirmed touchdown and damage was relatively light.  He also reported ... Macomber Found Guilty of Second Degree Murder

A Shawnee County Jury needed less than an hour to find Steven Macomber guilty of 2nd Degree Murder in the June 7, 2010, shooting of Ryan K. Carroll Found Guilty

Former Marshall County Attorney Brian Carroll entered a plea of “No Contest” to a single count of theft at the preliminary hearing on Tuesday. Carroll was then found guilty by the presiding district judge. Sentencing was set for the morning of November 22nd at 11:00.
