Slow down on blacktop north of Greenleaf!!

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office would like to remind travelers that the blacktop road between Highway 36 and Greenleaf has a 55 m.p.h. speed limit.  They realize it’s easy to turn off of Highway 36 and just stay at 65 m.p.h., but the speed limit is 55.  As a result, the Sheriff’s Department will be increasing patrol of that roadway ... Marysville City Residents Asked To Limit Sewer Use

The City of Marysville is urging all residents to limit sewer/waste water disposal this evening. The pumps at the lagoon are down, due to a sewer force main break on the south side of U.S. Highway 36 just west of the Blue River Bridge. K-15 by Linn Now 55 mph

The speed limit on K-15 by Linn will soon be lowered to 55 miles per hour. Barneston Bridge Officially Complete

An $850,000 bridge project south of Barneston is officially complete. Gage County Highway Superintendent Marlin Kliewer said the department received notice to proceed with the 95-day project on Aug. 22, 2010. Work on the project began in January 2011 and the finishing touches to the project were completed on June 6. The new bridge has no weight limit. Read More »
