Centralia Lake is open – sort of


Centralia Lake is open for boating and fishing.  The Kansas Department of Health and Environment says the blue-green-algae continues to be detected at the lake, but the levels are improving.  The KDHE warning has been downgraded to an advisory which allows boating and fishing.  Contact with the water is discouraged for people and pets. Axtell/Sabetha School Consolidation Wins State Approval
