Nemaha County Sheriff Recovers Stolen School Property

Nemaha County Sheriff Rich Vernon announced that the Department identified 2 suspects in a burglary case that occurred on June 21st at an area school. Sheriff Vernon announced that Dylan Barrett of Oneida, KS has been arrested for the Burglary. A second suspect is currently being sought. A Topeka man convicted of wounding a Marshall County Sheriff‘s deputy and taking an elderly Blue Rapids woman hostage last June has been sentenced to nearly 83 ½ years in prison.
