Washington hires new City Administrator

Carl Chalfant has been hired as the new Washington City Administrator and will begin his duties on July 8. He is currently the city administrator for the city of McClouth, which he has been since 2007, prior to that he was city superintendent for the city of McClouth from 1990-2007. His salary has been set at $55,000 a year.

Auditions for Summer Musical are June 2 and 3

Auditions for the Marysville Area Community Theatre’s summer production “Into the Woods” will be held Sunday June 2nd from 2-4 pm and Monday June 3rd from 6-8 pm at the Marysville High School Auditorium.
