Auditions for Summer Musical are June 2 and 3

Former Marysville resident pleads guilty to embezzling more than $500,000

Former Marysville resident, Larry Lord, age 63, pleaded guilty to embezzling more than $500,000 from the commercial construction company, Cheney Construction, Inc. in Manhattan that he worked for from 1995 to 2012. Beatrice School Board selects new Superintendent

The Beatrice Public Schools Board of Education has selected Pat Nauroth to be their new Superintendent at a special meeting held Tuesday night.  He’s currently the assistant superintendent at South Sioux City Schools, where he has been for 25 years and has verbally committed to a two year contract with a $155,000 annual salary plus benefits.  He will begin his ...
