A 37 year old Marysville man was arrested in Nebraska following a high-speed chase. Authorities in Nebraska are saying that Justin T. Sutterlin is a suspect in Kansas for a convenience store burglary that took place in Mitchell County early Tuesday. Firefighters battle grass fire in Jefferson County

Jefferson County Firefighters battled a grass fire Tuesday afternoon about 10 miles southeast of Fairbury that burned nearly 80 acres of prairie grass.  The fire was caused by a Rotary Mower as it struck a rock or something that caused a spark.  High winds added to the challenge of putting the fire out.
