Wheat Harvest Appears To Be In Good Shape

A late wheat harvest this summer still proved encouraging for area farmers. With a yield average reported at 47-48 bushel per acre, some fields topped 80 bushels. Blue Springs Cabin Recieves Renovation FUnding.

The Blue Springs Cabin will receive funding for improvements.   The log cabin was originally built in 1857.  The Gage County Board of Supervisors approved a visitors improvement fund grant to the City of Blue Springs in the amount of $3,092 and will go towards repairs for the cabin located in the city park.
